Well, It's been a while

Your right, I started a blog... did 6 posts and then gave up.
Well I wish I could say "I've been busy" but to be honest, it has been the quietist two months I've possibly ever had... but I suppose that means I've nothing to tell.
Well the next few posts will show a little bit of what I've been up to the past few months. Enjoy!

Technology makes you do crazy things...

Uh Oh. Got pissed off with Vodafone and not being able to claim on my insurance to get a new phone, so ordered an iPhone4 on O2.

Received it today, the bloody speaker doesn't work so getting another one to replace it on Tuesday.

Pretty sure I'll regret this whole paying for 2 contract phone things but being without a phone made me a little crazy.

Tribal Look Spring/Summer 2012

Fashion takes an exotic turn
- with an explosion of tribal trends for Spring/Summer 2012.

Moving away from the animal print (which mostly is tacky anyway) and onto the boho tribal look is going to be a big thing for fashion this year, with celebrities such as Lauren Conrad and Jennifer Garner already sporting this great look. One of my favourite tribal wear is a simple look by Alexanda McQueen, a simple black blazer with extremely detailed pockets teamed with a pair black three quarter harem like trousers. The look is simple and stunning.

If your looking to find your own tribal gear I would recommend boohoo.com - they have so many different designs and all at a great price. Granted the quality wont be as good as your more up market shops but it will certainly do for your summer holiday's. I've ordered three tops off their myself (they haven't arrived but I'll post pictures and a review once they do).

BANKSY™

OK, so you probably wouldn't think I'm someone who appreciates art but Banksy is just genious. He brings art to a completely new level and his Ideas are so current and fresh. Some people disagree and believe he is a vandalist, but if you study his work, you'll see they all tell a message. If you like him, make sure to visit Banksy's website, there is always updates, but here are some of my favourites:

we're all going on a summer holiday...

So I've finally booked my holiday with the girls, complete change of plan from a week of going wild in Ibiza to (hopefully) riding elephants in Thailand for three weeks! Flying to Bangkok on the 26th May and spending three nights there before exploring other areas of Thailand. I'm totes over the moon about the fact it is booked and if you are ever looking to go travelling or long-haul flights make sure you check out the flight centre on Mosley street in Manchester, they are great! Especially Siobhan, she has given us some great advice and also a great price! I have a lot of saving and planning to do in the next three months but it will definitely be worth it!

Recommendations...

I thought I'd share some of my favourites so enjoy...

Not mine, but an idea of what they can do
Nail Salon

I would definitely recommend Claire Tinsley & Maxine Coyle, the quirky little salon feels more like a spa, located in Rochdale town centre, cheetham street - you wouldn't think such a nice and well looked after salon would exist, with a huge choice of beauty treatments its a definite must! My personal favourite are the acrylic nails, with a wide choice of designs and styles your options are almost endless.

Zinc, raspberry caipirinha
Cocktail

Of course, I am going to say Bar Wizards Lounge as I work there but if you want to go a little further afield, i would recommend the living room and I am partial to a caipirinha at Zinc.

Restaurant
Saporro Teppanyaki restaurant, Sushi & Noodle Bar, Manchester. It's not just somewhere for a bite to eat, its entertaining and fun for all - with the chefs cooking right in front of your table and interacting with you it's a great laugh for couples, friends and family's. If you've not been its a definite MUST.

UK Weekend away destination
Shell Island, Wales - Great camp site and I never thought I would say that, with local shop and pub and right on the beach you can't go wrong! Local to Harlech and Porthmadog its a definite must! Although avoid Lilly's Kitchen in Porthmadog unless you fancy spending £15 on fish and chips in a polystyrene tray!
